Mike Wendt became a part of the New Berlin Plastics team in 2023, taking on the role of Manufacturing Manager. With a rich background spanning 18 years in the injection molding industry, Mike has worn many hats. He began as a Process Technician, during which he earned technical certifications in Scientific Injection Molding. His growth then led him to a Team Supervisor position, where he capitalized on his leadership skills to nurture his team members and drive operational efficiencies through a lean, metric driven, management style. Mike's commitment to professional growth eventually saw him promoted to Senior Manufacturing Manager. In this capacity, he managed multiple facilities, focusing on strategy, process development, continuous improvement, and operational excellence. Mike’s desire to be part of a high-performing team at a growing company where he could be hands-on and readily see the impact of his efforts led him to join New Berlin Plastics.
